Open Classifieds 2.1.8.1 minor release

We have a minor release for Open Classifieds to solve some issues until our big release Open Classifieds 2.2.0 is launched, if you have some suggestions for your classified ads website for 2.2.0 release add a comment to ​the wishlist.

Issues solved with this release:

• Added Greek translation.
• Listings page error.
• Black list link in admin panel.
• New user registration welcome e-mail.
• Google log in improvement. (Premium feature)

How to update?:

Please follow the instructions carefully to prevent from getting into any errors.

Automatic Update

1. Make a backup of all your files and DB (optional, recommended)
2. Go to your panel
3. Clean cache or go to http://YOURDOMAIN.com/oc-panel/tools/cache?force=1
4. Go to updates-> Click on Check for Updates or go to http://YOURDOMAIN.com/oc-panel/update/index?reload=1
5. Press on Update button or go to http://YOURDOMAIN.com/oc-panel/update/latest
6. Wait few seconds..
7. Done

Manual Update

You need to do it like this if you have an older version than 2.1.6, it’s really simple don’t worry ;)

1. Make a backup of all your files and DB (optional, recommended)
2. Download latest 2.1.8.1
3. First you need to enable maintenance mode
4. Upload only these files:
   • oc/config/routes.php
   • oc/classes/*
   • oc/modules/*
   • oc/vendor/*
   • oc/ko323/*
   • oc/bootstrap.php
   • themes/*
   • languages/* (only if you want new languages)
   • index.php
5. Launch in your browser http://yourdomain.com/oc-panel/update/2181 (this will update the DB and disable the maintenance mode)
6. Ready!
