Open Classifieds offers you a few features that will help you to monetize your website. Here is an overview of some of the options that will make possible to start to earn money with your classifieds.

Pay to post
You can make your users to pay for publishing an advertisement.
Go to Admin Panel and choose Settings > General.
In the field Moderation choose the way ads will be published. To earn money you can choose Payment On – then whenever someone wants to post ad on your page, he will be asked to pay. You can also choose Payment with moderation – user will pay for publishing the ad, but still you have a possibility to moderate the ad before it becomes visible on your site.
You can also choose some categories where your user will have to pay for posting, while in others it will be for free.
For that go to Panel > Classifieds > Categories, choose the ones that will be paid and hit Edit. In the last field of the form write the price for posting in this category and click Submit. You may also need to delete the cache. (Read more: How to add categories and manage them?)
Move to top or feature the ad
Users, who published their advertisement on your site, may be interested in getting more views and reaching more audience with their listing. To reach that goal they can pay for moving their ad back to the top or to highlight it by making it featured.
To set this options go to Panel and choose Settings > Payment.
To activate/deactivate option of featuring the ad choose ON/OFF in the Featured Ads field. You can also set the price for featuring the ad – it will be displayed in the currency you’re using (see: How to set the currency format?). Also you can choose how many days ad will be highlighted after the payment.
To activate/deactivate option of bringing ad to the top choose ON/OFF in the Bring to top Ad field. Then set the price that users have to pay to refresh their listing.
Advertising banners
Another option of earning with your site is to include commercial banners with advertisement. You just need to put a HTML code on your site.
