During my trip, I visited Al-Ain which is in the border of Oman. Hatta was also a beautiful place. Surrounding by stone mountains and mineral, and where the main water companies have established their headquarters, providing water for the whole country of UAE.
Also, when I was in Ras Al-khaima and Umm Al-Quwain in the north, I met a lot of friendly people that were very different than Dubai area. I noticed during in my trip that UAE citizens are more willing to face-to-face buying and selling. It is very common to find marketplaces where you can buy crafts and products related to animals. Those markets are announced via Internet, where a lot of people are using smartphones. That’s why some of them have classifieds sites to continue to buy and sell, even during the days without market.
