It’s Friday again, meaning that the weekend is almost there. Time to start enjoying your well deserved rest. From now on the Open Classifieds team will post a blog post each Friday giving tips where you could spend a nice weekend holiday, where to go for a tasty dinner with family or friends or if you want to continue working on your classifieds website, how to make your website more profitable.
For today we are going to give you some tips for going out for dinner in Barcelona, the city where Open Classifieds is located. We found this great website called “Spotted by Locals“. Here you can find inside information about your favorite European city and also some North American cities are listed. The interesting thing is that locals provide the content for the website. So you won’t only find places, where only tourists come, but also the less famous bars, restaurants, parcs, etc. which are only known by people actually living in the city.
So for today some tips for going out for dinner in Barcelona:
5 – Oviso
This restaurant is located in the middle of the Gothic area. Even for people from Barcelona this neighborhood can be kind of a maze, with all these little streets and alleys. This however makes it a very attractive place to stroll around and find these places where you would normally never come. The restaurant offers French/Mediterranean food and for 15 euro you have dinner + a drink.

4 – La Báscula
For everyone who is vegetarian or for those who would like to eat something different; go to La Báscula. This restaurant is located in Born. The chefs of the restaurant create the best dishes, and you even won’t miss the meat. A great place to enjoy a nice vegetarian sandwich or another vegetarian plate.

3 – Nou Candanchú
Nou Candanchú is a restaurant in Gracia. Especially people who are less familiar with typical Catalan or Spanish food, should go here, as the restaurant offers you the typical tastes of Catalonia. It can be very crowded and difficult to find a place to sit, but definitively you should try it once and have some patatas bravas or croquetas.

2 – Bar Brutal
If you like Italian food you should pay a visit to Bar Brutal. This restaurant doesn’t only offer the standard menu of the typical Italian, with a pizza margarita and lasagne. It is more creative and provides for example Italian style tapas. Next to that the service is also fantastic and the waiters have a great knowledge of wine.

1 – Rosa Negra
Last but not least a Mexican restaurant. The decoration of the restaurant is completely in Mexican style, full of colors and different kind of items on the wall. If you want to start your night with a tasty cocktail you should try their margarita which you get for just 3 euro 50. When coming in the afternoon you can have an excellent three meal course with a drink for only 9 euro. A great offer to start your weekend with.
