We are OpenClassifieds LTD, we develop classifieds software and other Open Source software. We offer our software for free and we make a living by selling professional products and support.
We power more than 14 thousand sites worldwide. Currently we are a small team from different nationalities and we need help to give better technical support to our clients.
Profile
- Young person motivated to work in a growing internet Startup.
- Out of the box thinker, not scared to learn and try new things.
- Really good English knowledge, especially written, not too formal but correct.
- Basic HTML and PHP knowledge, enough to edit files when needed.
- Basic Linux, FTP and web hosting management (cPanel, plesk…)
- Really good skills on computer and internet.
- Excel, Word, Gmail and all these basic computer skills.
Tasks
- Write technical documentation (FAQ’s, improve guides).
- Create video tutorials.
- Installation and update software for clients
- Customer care/support. (Ticket system.)
- Answer in our forums.
- Report bugs on Github.
- Fix small bugs when possible.
- Software testing (Unit testing, phpunit/behat or similar will be a plus)
Job Offer
- 20h work week. Flexible hours.
- Office in Barcelona (next to the beach), we work mostly remotely but meetings are held in person, specially first week to transfer knowledge.
- Learn new technologies, we will pay any course you may need.
- Salary depending on candidate and experience.
- Salary Increase after 6 months or earlier if proven results.
