Summer is coming to an end, but this summer has been quite busy for our classifieds script. As most of you may know, companies in Europe have most of their holidays in summer time and August is almost a dead month for many businesses. But in Open Classifieds we didn’t stop, not even for one day. From getting the latest major release 2.2.0 ready, preparing a PDF user guide to recording a video course on creating a classifieds website. Of course we enjoy our weekends, bank holidays and so but working didn’t stop during this summer, I actually noticed something amazing! the team was more productive and more relaxed at the same time.
Some may ask: But don’t you need your time off? well in Open Classifieds we enjoy what we’re doing and to me personally working with OC team is actually more amusement than work, our weekly meetings include a review of what fun we had during the weekend, work tasks and progress issues, then we put some music on and relax while doing our jobs. During the day there could be times where we discuss TV shows or latest trending news and at the end of the day we decide on a time for a beach volleyball game. This gives us more energy to continue with a productive day no matter what issues we face at work
OC team is always happy to see users coming up with great websites, this summer we saw many websites we actually liked and some of which we added to the showcase section at our website. It makes us feel satisfied seeing projects on their way to success just like catvclassifieds.com or kurdeal.com and many more in the pipeline.
Hopefully we will continue to provide a better experience to everyone out there with a creative idea and wants to put it into action, and with your support we will make this classifieds script better and better.
