As we announced at an earlier blog post, we had three giveaways on our fifth birthday and those gifts included a free web hosting with our affiliate Inmotion hosting and a free Open Classifieds premium theme.
The three gifts were separated into three different channels:
1- Facebook contest: we ran a contest on our Facebook page for 5 days (it’s our 5th birthday :) ) and we asked our followers on Facebook to comment on the contest post and get as many likes as they could on their comment and the person with the highest likes would win the prize. We got some really nice comments and we thank everyone who participated, a day before the contest ended the competition got very intense, and when the contest deadline came there was a winner and he’s Saeed Kola, congratulations to Saeed. Here is a screenshot taken at the contest deadline:
2- Twitter contest: Another chance to win was by retweeting our twitter post, at the contest deadline we gave a number to each retweeter and we made a randomization process which lead to Pablo Zimbrón winning the Twitter contest, Congratulations to Pablo.
3- Birthday event: The third gift was given randomly to one of our even attendees, on the 17th of April we had a small gathering to celebrate our birthday and we invited everyone for free beers and we continued the night having a very good dinner. During that event we ran a small randomized selection process, and the winner was: Oliver as you can see in the next picture:
Those gifts were sponsored by both Open Classifieds and Inmotion hosting, and we’re very happy that we have reached this level.
