New release Open Classifieds 2.1.3

This time we added some very awesome features that make our users’ lives easier and let them have a great experience managing their classified ads websites.

Open Classifieds 2.1.2 had in total 2,634 downloads and now we are ready for 2.1.3, with small fixes and new administration tools, making Open Classifieds better!

What’s new at 2.1.3

• Import categories and locations from excel! :D
• Quick way of adding categories manually
• Order management system (client purchases)
• New Google maps integration
• Installation system for themes
• Update system that updates themes automatically
• Languages updated to latest version: no_NO, ca_ES, de_DE, cs_CZ (thanks to everyone who contributed!)
• All closed issues here

How to Update to 2.1.3

1. Make a backup of all your files and DB (optional, recommended)
2. First you need to enable maintenance mode
3. Go to your panel and click on “Check for updates”
4. Go to Tools->Updates->click update
5. Wait few seconds while we update your site, this may take a while depending on you internet connection and your site size
6. Disable maintenance mode.
7. Site upgraded ;)

Premium Themes Update

Please before you update, make sure that you received in your email the license that will be required to activate your paid theme, and that you have the latest version of your theme 2.1.3. You will get an email very soon.

1. Make a backup of all your files and DB (optional, recommended)
2. First you need to enable maintenance mode (optional)
3. Go to themes and activate the default theme (Ocean Free).
4. Deactivate mobile theme if you have it enabled
5. Delete all the cache
6. Delete your premium theme from /themes/
7. Execute the update
   1. Go to your panel and click on “Check for updates”
   2. Go to Tools->Updates->click update
   3. Wait few seconds while we update your site, this may take a while depending on you internet connection and your site size
8. Re-upload your premium theme to /themes/
9. Click activate theme.
10. Put the license.
11. Disable maintenance mode.
12. Enjoy!

Manual Update.

In case you can not proceed with automatic update. This only happens if your hosting does not allow to download files or to extract zip files.

1. Make a backup of all your files and DB (optional, recommended)
2. First you need to enable maintenance mode
3. Upload only these files:
   • oc/config/routes.php
   • oc/classes/*
   • oc/modules/*
   • oc/vendor/*
   • oc/bootstrap.php
   • themes/*
   • languages/* (only if you want new languages)
   • index.php
4. Launch in your browser http://yourdomain.com/oc-panel/update/213
5. Ready!
