(categories issue is not only solved, but it’s been improved a lot)

How to Update to 2.1.7 (From 2.1.6 or 2.1.5)

1. Make a backup of all your files and DB (optional, recommended)
2. Go to your panel and click on “Check for updates”
3. Go to Tools->Updates->click update
4. Wait few seconds while we update your site, this may take a while depending on you internet connection and your site size
5. Site upgraded ;)

Premium Themes Update

If you had 2.1.5/2.1.6 installed, by following the automatic update steps above, your theme will be updated to the latest version without making any effort ;), if you face any trouble open a ticket in the support.

Manual Update

In case you can not proceed with automatic update, if it fails or you have an older installation than 2.1.6 you will need to update manually.

1. Make a backup of all your files and DB (optional, recommended)
2. First you need to enable maintenance mode
3. Upload only these files:
   • oc/config/routes.php
   • oc/classes/*
   • oc/modules/*
   • oc/vendor/*
   • oc/bootstrap.php
   • themes/*
   • languages/* (only if you want new languages)
   • index.php
4. Launch in your browser http://yourdomain.com/oc-panel/update/217
5. Ready!
